The DinoBot User Manual is an integrated manual for those who use DinoBot products. (U5PVR / U5Mini / 4K)
It is the most basic manual for using Dinobot products and explains all the functions of the product.
Please read this manual as it will help you to use the product.
This is based on the U5 product, but the way it works is the same.

Note that the text color and the orange color are important parts of the content setting.
In Part 12, you will learn how to watch and record live TV.
Launch the app on LiveTV for watching and recording TV.
U5 OTT users do not have Live TV app because they do not have a TV tuner.
Press the 'Green' button on the remote control to display a hidden pop-up menu.
The hidden main menu is available through the 'Go to main menu' item.
This is a feature that was in the old version. It is rarely used at present and only the 'Setup' item is used.
Detailed recording is possible through 'Timer List' item.
If no recording is specified, nothing will be displayed in the timer list.
Press the 'Green' button on the remote control to set the recording schedule.
You can specify the recording method through 'Method' item.
You can choose between 'Record' and 'View'.

Through the 'Date' column
You can set the recording date.
Through the 'Start time' column
You can set the recording time.
If you click the 'End Time' item, you can set how many minutes you want to start recording by pressing the Start Recording button.
The maximum recording time is 1440 minutes (24 hours).
It is possible to set the scheduled recording cycle by repeating 'Repeat setting' item.
If you want to record a drama on Monday or Tuesday, you have to register twice a week on that broadcast week and Tuesday on that day.
If you click the 'File name' item, you can manually enter the file name to be saved.
The EPG-based channel is recorded in the EPG-based broadcast name, and the EPG-free channel is recorded in the channel name.
You can change it to the name you want.
Use the virtual keypad (keyboard) app to rename files.
Specify the location to save the recording file through 'Storage device, network storage device' item.
You can check the reservation status through the mode icon at the end of the 'Timer List' window.

Press the 'red' button on the remote control to delete the scheduled task.

Scheduled tasks can be modified.

When there is no channel being recorded, nothing is displayed.
Information such as the channel being recorded and the time is displayed through the 'Record Information' window, and the remaining capacity on the storage device is displayed at the bottom.

You can check the tuner status.
You can express the color you want through 'Color setting' item.
If you do not know this part, you can touch the screen if you touch it.
Sound can be set through the 'Soundtrack' item.
In the case of broadcasting supporting multi-lingual sound, selective viewing is possible.
You can use the same function by pressing the 'green' button on the remote control while watching TV.
You can enable or disable the display of subtitles through the 'Digital subtitles' item.
You can specify whether or not to display subtitles.

Subtitles will not appear until you select 'Auto'.
When 'Digital Subtitles' is activated, subtitles are displayed in white or yellow text on the black border.
You can use the same function when you press the 'blue' button on the remote control while watching TV.
You can turn off the power after a certain period of time through 'Sleep mode' item.
Sleep mode works in conjunction with power settings.
It works in conjunction with power mode setting.
In Standby mode, power standby mode / PowerSave mode, power off mode.
You can set up to 180 minutes (3 hours).
Stream capture function is supported separately from TV recording function.
The stream capture function is used to save a file to analyze the broadcast stream if there is a problem with the broadcast stream.
If the broadcast is broken in a specific area or there is a problem with the audio side, it can be saved as a stream and tested through a PC video player.
This is an advanced function that is not widely used by ordinary users.
It is available after connecting USB storage device. Press 'Start' to start stream capture.
Press 'Exit' to stop stream capture.
The stream capture file is saved on the first USB storage device and stored in the 'tscapture' folder.
Create and save a folder of frequency numbers.
It is recorded as TS file of 'frequency number - recording date - recording time' type.
In the EPG state, the pop-up menu is available by pressing the 'Menu' button on the remote control.
Press the 'EXIT' button on the remote control to return to the ATV main screen.
When returning to the ATV main screen, it is not possible to watch the reservation and it is possible to make a scheduled recording.
