· DinoBot User Manual Guidance


Hi.

Welcome to DinoBot Supporters blog.

The DinoBot User Manual is an integrated manual for those who use DinoBot products. (U5PVR / U5Mini / 4K)

It is the most basic manual for using Dinobot products and explains all the functions of the product.

Please read this manual as it will help you to use the product.

This is based on the U5 product, but the way it works is the same.

Note that the text color and the orange color are important parts of the content setting.


In Part 9, you will learn how to set up environment for using LIVE TV for DVB S/T tuner.

To use LIVE TV , you need to make basic settings.
I'll explain it here how to setup DVB tuners.


Please select the Live TV app.



Run the app on LiveTV for setup. 

Click 'Setup - Config'.

Then there are 2 tuners. Terrestrial tuner and Satellite tuner.

It is upto DVB tuner module, it will load DVB S/S or DVB S/T or Dual ATSC tuners.
This is described in terms of DVB-S / T tuner.



The 'Configuration' setting is for the DVB T/T2 tuner .

When you select DVB-Terrestrial tuner, you can fine below Options.

Search Mode is scanning mode with 3 different type.

you need to use Auto Scan as default.



Choose Broadcasting type upto your Input Antenna type.

If you use Terrestrial Antenna, you should select "TERRESTRIAL"

If you use Cable Antenna from local broadcasting operator, you need to select "Cable"



Choose your country and Region. if you don't know about details,  need to select Default value like "Generic"






If you use Internal Antenna with External 5V Power, you need to set "ON", Then box will feed 5V Power via antenna cable.



After setting configuration for Tuner and your local setting, then press "RED" button to scan channel.


The 'Configuration' setting is for the DVB S/S2 tuner .


The 'Tuner 2-Satellite' setting is for the DVB-S/S2 tuner.



The "Search Mod" setting is selected by "Preset scan".



There are 4 type of Scanning mode.

1. Preset Scan : Scanning by pre-programmed Transponder.

2. Manual Scan : Scanning by selected Transponder or Transponder parameters

3. Blind Scan : Scanning with full RF frequencies.

4. Fast Scan : Scanning by Operator.


Select your satellite that you want to scan.

You can use FF/Rew button to page up/down of satellite list.



Select your LNB on your dish.



You need to setup switch options upto your Antenna connection.



DiSEqC : box will support DiSEqC 1.0/ 1.1/1.2/1.3(USALS)

Legacy Switches :  for USA users.

22Khz Tone switch : EU/ME users. 



After setting your switch option, press "RED" button on RCU.



Scan will start.

When you scan satellite  channels, previous scanned channel that you select satellite, it will be removed.

Support FTA(Free)/CAS(Scrambled) scanning filter.



Manual Scanning option to select Transponder and Freq/Symbol/Polarity



Blind Scanning option to select TP only or TP & channels



Fast Scanning option to select EU satellite operator who support Fast scanning feature.



Press 'EXIT' button on remote control to finalize channel search.





The 'A / V Output' setting is for the screen output. It is possible to change it Android TV setting.



The 'HDOUT resolution' setting is not set because the screen resolution setting has the same option as the ATV setting.

'Screen size adjustment' is a setting related to the screen margin. It is not set because there is the same option in ATV setting.




The 'CCcam Data Recovery' setting is a feature only available in Europe.


If you enable the 'Record in channel folder' setting, you can create a folder for each channel name and save the file.


You can set 'Power Mode' and 'Launcher' function through 'Others' setting.












You can set whether to operate when the power button is pressed through 'Power Mode' setting.


- Standby: Standby power. In power standby mode, the time is displayed on the U5 LCD screen, and the TV screen can be quickly re-launched to operate the power button next time with only the screen being turned off for a while.


- PowerSave: Power off state. When the power is turned off, the U5's LCD screen is blank and responds by rebooting to the next power button operation, leaving only the minimum amount of power available to respond to remote control activity.


* If you do not use PowerSave for a long time, please turn off the power completely by pressing the power button on the back of the main body.


* With regard to the power source, pressing the power button of the remote control once will double-click the power standby state to operate the power shutdown state.




If you enable the 'Use broadcast time' setting, you can set the time based on broadcasting.




The 'Use Linux' setting is a setting related to the use of Linux.




If you enable the 'Apply Live TV to home on boot' setting, Live TV will launch automatically when U5 boots up.




You can configure external EPG and IPTV M3U file through 'IPTV' setting.



If you press 'EPG URL', you can input the address of web page that can receive external EPG data.



When you enter the 'IPTV' setting, you can enter the address of a web page that can receive IPTV.



Enter the address of a Web page that can receive external IPTV based on M3U.
